The blades are reversible with a pure black finish on the reverse side of the blades for the 52" fan and Washed Oak Wood Grain finish on the reverse of the blades for the 42" fan. It has a convenient three speed switch for year round comfort. Summer-forward air motion creates cooling breeze and winter-reverse air flow re-circulates rising warm air.
